The first day of school,
our year has begun.

a dancer at heart
Day 4:
B is for Benny,
who loves to make art
Day 5:
C is for Cami,
her smile so bright
Day 6:
D is for Dana,
who dreams to take flight.
Day 7:
E is for Evan,
always with a book
Day 8:
F is for Fred,
who wants to be a cook
Day 9:
G is for Georgia,
on weekends she climbs
Day 10:
H is for Hal,
always speaking in rhymes
Day 11:
I is for Isaac,
who loves to run fast
Day 12:
J is for Jill,
her love of books is vast
Day 13:
K is for Karlee,
with a hug for all
Day 14:
L is for Liam,
he loves to play ball

M is for Megan,
always with a smile

N is Noelle,
who does her work with style

O is for Owen,
who helps those in pain

loves to dance in the rain

always ready to play

who hums when he writes

who loves to fly kites

who loves her long hair

who draws with a flair

W is for Wyatt,
his skateboard he rides
Day 26:
X is for Xyla,
who loves watching the tides

Y is for Yussuf,
so helpful and kind

Z is for Zeke,
who shares what’s on his mind
Day 29:
We’ve met all our classmates,
we’re ready to go
Day 30:
Let the new year begin,
